With the continuous expansion of the iPhone functional, its interface became more cumbersome, and many interesting device functions, laid down in the first versions of the system, were forgotten and receded into the background. One of such functions was the installation of a flash on the bell. This feature can be useful to those who often use a silent mode or can not find a calling device in the depths of a bag or backpack.
To set the flash to a call, do the following:
- Unlock the device and open the Settings application.
- Go to “General”, and then – to “Accessibility”.
- Find the “Hearing” section and enable “LED Flash for Alerts“.
The flash will light up not only during the call, but also with all kinds of notifications.
This function works only on the device in the blocked state, since on the unlocked devices the call or notification will be displayed, and a separate light notification is not necessary. If notifications are disabled for a specific application, the flash will not work if received.
This standard iPhone function, which is located in the depths of the settings, will certainly be useful to many of its users, especially in the “Do Not Disturb” mode, or during a night call.
